Mélange

BRANDING, LOGO DESIGN, PRINT

Mélange is a new cafe and tapas bar in Nidau, Switzerland. Mélange means a mix or medley, and they serve a variety of dishes and drinks inspired by Swiss and American cuisines. From their website:

“Mélange, located in the heart of Nidau, offers everything its name says. Gourmet soups, salads and sandwiches to go at lunchtime and tapas and cocktails to kick-off or end your evening in style.”

For this project, the client wanted to the branding to emphasize the freshness of the food and the sustainable practices of his restaurant. At the same time, it was important that the logo communicate not just freshness, but also the fact that they serve sandwiches and cocktails. My solution combines the three aspects of this idea and uses bright green as a pop of color.
